As part of a newly launched injury prevention initiative, the Flint Legal Resource Center is providing free glow sticks and safety tips to residents and their children between now and Halloween. Visitors to the Legal Resource Center will also have the opportunity to enter a raffle for a chance to win a $50 gift card to Toys“R”Us. The center is located at 1210 N Ballenger Highway in Flint, and will be open between 9am and 7pm, Friday, October 28 through Monday, October 31.

Attorney Solomon Radner is working with a Detroit family, whose home was unjustly raided by police. During this raid their pets were needlessly shot, killing the mother dog and her puppy. In this family’s case against the Detroit Police, accounts from the officers vary widely, which fit neither the initial reports filed nor crime scene photos.
