Lady GaGa Japan Relief
Lady GaGa Japan Relief Highlights
- 1800LawFirm changed the twitter hash tag from #GAGASCAM to #GAGALAWSUIT in response to the comments we were seeing online. We believe that Lady Gaga did something positive in creating the relief effort and promoting the bracelets to raise money for the Japan Relief effort. We also believe charitable donations need transparency regarding how much was raised and how it was allocated, this is why the lawsuit was filed – lack of transparency around charitable donations. We will maintain the conversation on twitter with the hash tag #gagalawsuit until she has her day in court.
- On March 11, hours after news of the devastation in Japan, Lady GaGa announced she would be selling wristbands to help with the relief effort.
- In this announcement she claimed ALL proceeds would go to Japan tsunami relief effort.
- Evidence has been uncovered by the 1800lawfirm legal team that these statements may have been misleading.
